Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s Left and Right gets a nod at the VMAs

For some time now, the MTV VMAs have been announcing the nominations in the award categories. Voting links for various categories have now been opened and closed. BTS’ Golden Maknae, aka Jungkook, featuring Charlie Puth, Left and Right, is nominated in the Song of Summer category. The VMAs took to their Twitter to congratulate Jungkook on his nomination. The voting link for the Song of the Summer category opens on Thursday (August 25, 2022). The link will be shared on MTV’s official Instagram page. ARMY makes Jungkook trend on Twitter

Ever since his VMAs announcement nomination, Jungkook has been trending on Twitter. ARMY is trending “CONGRATULATIONS JUNGKOOK,” “PROUD OF YOU JUNGKOOK,” “JUNGKOOK PAVED THE WAY,” “JUNGKOOK MAIN POP BOY” is trending worldwide. And why not? After all, Jungkook appears to be the first Korean soloist to be nominated in the Song of Summer category in the history of the MTV Video Music Awards. Charlie and JK’s Left and Right was for BL

In an interview after the release of Left and Right, Charlie Puth confirmed ARMY’s theories, wondering if Jungkook’s video was based on Boy Love. And he confirmed the fact that it is based on BL. The LGBTQ community celebrated the fact that the guys thought to feature a BL couple in the video.
