The first time I got rid of both training wheels on my bike. I was really proud of myself. I remember it really clearly. It was on a hill, at that moment, on grass. At the time I didn’t believe I had gotten rid of both wheels, but when I looked back I realized I no longer had them. I was really proud of myself. I did it!
The first person you showed your new music to…
This time it was [fellow NCT member] Johnny because we were together on schedule. We talked about the new song, it was before mixing, right after recording. He said it was kind of sexy, but he also thought about the feeling of loneliness inside. There was [no nerves]was just like “Do you want to hear it?” and he said “sure!”
First impression of your fellow NCT members…
There are many people! [laughs] I just mentioned Johnny and his first impression was “oh he’s tall!”. He is tall and had a kind of relaxed vibe. There was a group of older members and younger group members while we were training and I was the youngest of the oldest group. The hyung the members, the older members, treated me like the youngest child in the group. When we play or hang out these days, I always get that workout feeling. It still feels like the weather, you know. I feel that age when I am among the members.
First career aspiration…
My first career aspiration… I wanted to be good at everything. But there was a time when I had to write about my dream job at school and the last thing I wrote before singing or acting was theme park designer. I was really curious about how things moved in the parks, like the roller coasters or, you know, the swings and the Viking ships and all that stuff. I was very curious how it worked.
