While the song is called crime watch, many users have picked the rape dialogues like; Bhagwaan ke liye muje chod do’ in the song. And this rape dialogue used casually in the song did not go down well with the viewers. One Reddit user criticized the song’s lyrics, writing, “Liger Aafat’s song uses dialogue with a rape scene from old movies for…aesthetics? Another user on the same Reddit page called the misogyny in both industries: “Disgusting, but what else can you expect from a marriage between a misogynistic industry and a super misogynistic industry?”. Another user chimed in, writing: “Who in their right mind thought it would be cool to put dialogue from a rape scene into a modern song? Pity”.
