Have the makers found a new Dayaben in THIS Sirf Tum actress? Here’s what we know

Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma is one of the most beloved sitcoms in the country. It stars a cast that has been entertaining the masses for over 14 years. The show’s fans have been sorely missed over the past few years Disha Vakani who played Dayaben in the show. Disha took maternity leave and is yet to return. There are reports that the makers are on the hunt for a new Dayaben now that Disha has welcomed a baby boy. Auditions were also said to have begun. Names of actresses have been floated as a possible replacement for Disha Vakani. And now it seems they have found their Dayaben.

Is Sirf Tum’s Kajal Pisal the new Dayaben?

Names like Ami Trivedi. Divyanka Tripathi, Aishwarya Sakhuja and Shilpa Shinde have emerged as the possible next Dayaben. But in the end, none of them got the part. Some of them were not even approached to play Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. And now, if recent reports are anything to go by Kajal wrote who plays the role of Asha Saxena Oberoi in the Vivian D’Sena and Eisha Singh starrer Surf Tum is the new Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. There is no official confirmation on the same yet, but ETimes quoted a source as saying that if Kajal Pisal is finalised, it might have to start shooting next month.

Producer for Dayaben’s comeback in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

Well, a few weeks ago there was a song where Sundarlal aka Mayur Vakani was back in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and had promised Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi that he will bring Dayaben aka Disha Vakani back to Mumbai. However, this was only a trick. The fans of the show were quite upset and lashed out at the makers for misleading them. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer, Asit Kumarr Modi addressed the absence of Disha Vakani or Dayaben. He assured the fans that they will do everything possible to bring Dayaben back. He wasn’t sure if it would be Disha Vakani or a new Dayaben.

While talking about the stand-in player they brought in to replace the real Dayaben in the episode, Modi had said that Dayaben needed a shock entry and couldn’t be brought in just like that. Meanwhile, Shailesh Lodha has left the show. Raj Anadkat is also said to have left the show. However, he refused to confirm the same to create suspense.
