HIGH POINT – Manwah Holdings Ltd. is bringing on board industry veteran April Winters Kelly, as vice president of sales, heading up a new division supporting the fashion lifestyle store retail channel.

Fashion lifestyle stores represent one of the fastest-growing retail verticals, according to Manwah, and the company expects Kelly will enable Manwah to improve its ability to respond to and support the needs of its retail partners.

“Kelly brings a wealth of professionalism, talent and experience to this new position and will be a valuable addition to our senior management team,” said Gabriele Natale president of Manwah USA. “She understands the needs and requirements of fashion lifestyle retailers, which is a retail channel that we have started to service with our new expanded capacity. As Manwah continues to expand into this channel it is important to fill this position with her knowledge and relationships.”

The new position is a result of Manwah’s continued investment in expanding capacity in Mexico, Vietnam and China, according to the company. The hire is part of Manwah’s plan for long-term growth initiatives in additional sales channels such as lifestyle stores.

Kelly has spent her entire career in the furniture industry. Prior to Manwah, Kelly was at McCreary Modern heading up sales and marketing from 2004 to 2021 and previously was a sales representative for Cisco Brothers, a retail store manager for several years and an independent sales representative for multiple lines.
