Gully Boy star Ranveer Singh recently got a taste of the desert with Bear Grylls. Although the reality TV survivalist who shot to fame on Man vs Wild has gone wild with many Indian stars like Ajay Devgn, Vicky Kaushal, Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, he hasn’t been with a female icon. Sharing his long wish list of Indian icons, Grylls told Hindustan Times: “Virat (cricketer Virat Kohli) would be amazing for an adventure – a real lion heart and good spirit. And Priyanka Chopra would be amazing – I took her husband on a trip once and he was a great guy. People will be happy to hear her story. While Grylls has visited India several times over the past few years, his experience with the country’s people and Indian stars has been incredible. “The warmth of love and welcome I always get from Indian superstars – they are always so nice and hug me – I feel like an honorary Indian and that’s the biggest blessing I could ever ask for. India is always so close to my heart. The fans, the spectacular desert, the amazing food and the nicest people. Meanwhile, Ranveer enjoyed the positive response his recent show Ranveer Vs the Divas with Bear Grylls received. He felt that people seemed to like his off-screen persona more compared to his on-camera work, even though he was most comfortable in front of the camera and with the medium of cinema.

However, the actor was grilled by netizens after a clip of him kissing Grylls went viral on social media. In the viral clip, Ranveer can be seen saying, “Arre mere mowgli, arre mere Tarzan” as he pecks Bear Grylls’ cheeks and neck. While the clip was quite weird in its content, it also sparked a meme fest with creators having an internet day thanks to Ranveer’s antics.
