Chris and Jacqueline Laurita, alums from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, will participate in the Ante4Autism event taking place in Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS – Ante4Autism, the poker tournament held every year to raise funds for autism, will feature three additional celebrities Saturday, July 23, when play kicks off at the South Point Hotel and Casino here during the Las Vegas Market.
Chris and Jacqueline Laurita, alums from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, will participate, and Norman Chad, ESPN broadcaster for the World Series of Poker, will play. The Laurita’s son has been diagnosed with autism. Chad recently made headlines when he weighed in on a poker cheating incident.
Check-in and registration for the event, open to the public, begins at 5:30 p.m. at the South Point Hotel and Casino, Grandview Lounge, and interested players can still register online.
A silent auction will consist of celebrity auction items such as foursome of golf with Jose Canseco; Las Vegas Raiders gear; 60-second personalized video donations from several celebrities, as well as sevn trips.
The tournament supports five autism charities: The Sharon Sigesmund Pierce & Stephen Pierce Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities at Touro University Nevada; https://tun.touro.edu/?related Learning 4 Life Farm; Stockhands Horses for Healing; National Autism Assn. of Southeast Ohio; and Autism Speaks.
