Earlier on August 17, the makers unveiled the first look of the film which is a monochrome poster that doesn’t give you much of a sneak peek into the cast. While the film is expected to be a horror thriller, the director Rahul Sadasivan revealed that it is set in the dark ages of Kerala. Further talking about the film, apart from Mammootty the film is also expected to star an ensemble cast which includes Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz in significant roles.
Recently, the makers Night Shift Studios revealed that the production house was set up to explore the world of horror and thrillers. In a statement released by producer Ramachandra Chakravarthy it was said, “I am glad to be launching Night Shift Studios today. Two years in the making, ‘Night Shift Studios’ was envisioned and created as a culmination of my passion for the horror-thriller genre, years of experience working with rich content and talented filmmakers, and my sincere endeavour to make global, experience-based films. As I continue my journey as the CEO & Producer at YNOT Studios, I’m doubly thrilled to have Sashi on board as a partner-producer in this venture.”
Shot extensively on a grand scale in Kochi and Ottapalam, Bramayugam is expected to release in early 2024.
