The couple was spotted in New York City taking a stroll with their newborn on Monday. Daniel kept a low profile, wearing a mask and baseball cap, while pushing a blue pram, donning a hoodie and grey jeans. Erin also kept it casual, wearing jeans and a green coat, along with a mask propped under her chin.
The couple met in 2012 while filming the movie “Kill Your Darlings”. A source close to the couple said in March: “Daniel and Erin could not be happier to be expecting. They are absolutely thrilled, and can’t wait to become a family of three. They told their families and friends recently. It’s an incredibly exciting time.”
In a previous interview with Newsweek, Daniel mentioned that he wants his future children to be around film sets, but he does not want them to become famous like him.
“I wouldn’t want fame for my kid. Film sets are wonderful places. A lot of the time it can be wonderful for kids, but it’s really the fame side of it that should be avoided at all costs.”

Daniel’s former Harry Potter co-star, Rupert Grint, also became a parent in 2020, welcoming his first child with his partner, Georgia Groome. Rupert, who played Harry’s best friend, Ron Weasley, shared a sweet selfie of himself and his baby, introducing her to the world.
The two remain close friends, with Daniel texting Rupert after the birth of his child. “I mean that is still wild to me that we are now at the stage where we are having kids, and I’m sure that is a fact that makes the rest of the world feel very old.”
