Meanwhile, actor Pooja Hegde believes in learning and growing from her mistakes and says that “success and failure are part of the process in an actor’s journey”. In 2022, Hegde, who has parallel careers in the South and Hindi movie industries, had four releases — Prabhas-starrer Radhe Shyam, Telugu actioner Acharya with Chiranjeevi, Tamil film, Beast with Vijay, and Ranveer Singh-led Hindi feature Cirkus. Except for Beast, the other movies did not do well at the box office. Palak gained fame after appearing in Harrdy Sandhu’s music video Bijlee Bijlee. In a chat with Siddharth Kannan, Palak said, “I don’t see a lot of people speaking about and acknowledging how much the paparazzi do for us. Everybody goes and complains about them and I understand that. I completely get that but also you need them, they make you relevant.” In the past, many stars like Jaya Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu have had some rough interactions with photographers.

Sharing the poster of the series, Karan wrote, “A slow-burning, immersive, referential tale about the post-independence origin and advancement of Hindi cinema. This set piece of brilliant set pieces and performances is exquisite and twisted in equal measure. Grey rules the character graphs and the unsaid is so much more powerful than the expressed dialogue.”
