Supermodel Veronika Rajek posted another of her signature Instagram posts. This time, donning a black two-piece outfit, she showed off an incredible oceanfront villa. One fan, however, noticed a white patch on her arm. When asked what it was for, Rajek responded it has nothing to do with nicotine or quitting smoking.
“It’s a birth control patch”, the Tom Brady superfan responded. To which the fan shamelessly asked if she was “having lots of unprotected sex”. Showing even further patience, Veronika Rajek then explained further, assuring it has nothing to do with her bedroom activity: “Birth control patches are not only for sex. In Slovakia they give them to you if you have hormone disbalance and acne”.
The model gracefully ended her reply with a smiley emoji. Many fans then replied to the original poster, saying that it was none of their business. As Rajek stated, it is very common for women to use birth control to regulate hormones and help with regulating menstruation, and even lower risks of ovarian and uterine cancers.
Women who use birth control patches tend to wear them for three week every month, changing them once a week. Apart from the health benefits stated above, according to the UK’s NIH, they are 99% effective at preventing pregnancy.
