Samantha tweeted that Khushi will soon resume sending her apologies to Vijay Deverakonda’s fans after a Twitter user asked her for an update on Khushi. In response to the actress’ apology, the Liger star tweeted that they are waiting for Samantha to return to full health with a big smile. The actors’ diagnosis of myositis is believed to be a factor in the Telugu film’s delay. Khushi is an unconventional love story of an army officer and a Kashmiri girl. Apart from Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda, the film will star Jayaram, Sachin Kedekar, Murali Sharma, Venela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rohini, Ali and Rahul Ramakrishna. The film is helmed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is gearing up for the release of Shaakuntalam. The mythological drama is currently in post-production. It is an adaptation of Kalidasa’s classic play about the love story of Shakunta and King Dushyant. The Yashoda actress also joined Varun Dhawan in The Citadel. It is an Indian adaptation of the Russo Brothers drama series of the same name starring Priyanka Chopra.
