Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister demands fair probe

New Delhi: The mystery around Sushant Singh Rajput’s death continues to grow deeper as more claims come to the fore pointing at a possibility of a murder. Recently, a person who was present during the autopsy of Sushant Singh Rajput, claimed that he was murdered and it was not a suicide. Reacting to the shocking claim, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti urged the central bureau of investigation (CBI) to look into the murder claim “diligently”.

Roopkumar Shah, who did Sushant Singh Rajput’s postmortem, said, “When Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, we had received five dead bodies in the Cooper Hospital for postmortem. Out of those five bodies, one was a VIP body. When we went to perform a post mortem, we learnt he was Sushant and there were several marks on his body and two to three marks on his neck as well. The postmortem needed to be recorded but higher authorities were asked to only click pics of the body. Hence, we did that as per their order.”

Sushant’s sister demands probe

Sharing the news on social media platform, Shweta said that the family is in pain as there is no closure yet and she also demanded CBI to look into the fresh claims diligently.

She wrote: “If there is an ounce of truth to this evidence, we urge CBI to really look into it diligently. We have always believed that you guys will do a fair investigation and let us know the truth. Our heart aches to find no closure as yet. #justiceforsushantsinghrajput.”

The 34-year-old actor was found dead in his apartment in Bandra on June 14, 2020. He was taken to Mumbai’s Cooper hospital when he passed away. His autopsy was conducted in the same hospital.

Starting with the Mumbai Police, Enforcement Directorate (ED), Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) were brought in to investigate various angles in the actor’s death. Later, the authorities ruled his death as a suicide.

Autopsy staff’s shocking claim

The autopsy staff said, “When I saw Sushant’s body for the first time, I quickly informed my seniors that I feel it is not suicide but a murder. I even told them that we should work as per the rules. However, my seniors told me to click pictures as soon as possible and give the body to the cops. Hence, we performed the postmortem in the night only.”

Recently, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh, in a recent TV news interview, alleged that the powerful political family of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is involved in the death of his son. He also said that SSR’s former partner Rhea Chakraborty was “bad news” for Rajput.
