BTS ARMY has another good news to celebrate. The second solo effort and first album by Kim Namjoon, aka RM, Indigo entered the top three on the Billboard 200 Global Chart. This is the first album by a Korean soloist to achieve this feat. RM aka Kim Namjoon came out with Indigo in early December. The album has ten songs. Songs like Wildflower, Yun, All Day, Still Life and Closer were very well received. Given his standing in the music industry, Kim Namjoon aka RM also has some big names on board. There are collaborations with legends like Erykah Badu, Tablo, Anderson Paak and Youjeen. The songs, which are of a mixed genre, also appealed to the general public.

The top song on the charts is Wildflower. RM’s vocals are combined with the rocking voice of senior Korean singer Youjeen. The live performance of the two was breathtaking. Indigo also some unique performances that include a live performance in a museum and an intimate concert for 200 ARMYs at the Rolling Hall in Seoul. Congratulations are pouring in for RM aka Kim Namjoon. Anderson Paak is also excited about the news. The album has sold nearly 80,000 copies so far.

RM #Indigo(83k sales) also officially breaks the record for the BIGGEST PEAK Weekly Album Sales by a Kpop/Korean Soloist in Billboard History, surpassing Nayeon’s IM NAYEON (56k sales)!

Indigo is inspired by the emotions and life that RM aka Kim Namjoon has experienced in his 20s. The BTS leader also draws references from the work of famous Korean artists. As we know, visual art is his second passion after music. That’s not all, he may release a few more songs before enlisting in the army.
