Which streaming service has the upper hand with their documentaries is completely subjective, but one thing is for sure, the ongoing competition between streamers has seen the benefit of production companies stepping up their game tenfold.

After stepping down from their royal duties and moving to America, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, have struck a huge deal with Netflix. The first title coming to Netflix from the deal is an in-depth look at the Invictus Games, the equivalent of the Paralympics for wounded ex-servicemen, which Harry served as a founding member of in 2014.
The 2022 Invictus Games are being held in the Netherlands and will be the first games attended by the couple since leaving the royal family. A documentary crew will cover this year’s games and follow Harry and Meghan through the event.

One of the best sports documentary series available on any streaming platform anywhere, Drive to survive was the ultimate documentation of one of the world’s top sports, Formula One.
Through behind-the-scenes interviews, a driver, team-specific episodes and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, Drive to survive adds a hugely entertaining layer of drama that you won’t see aired on race weekends.
We still don’t know what’s in store for Season 5, but the resurgent Ferrari team and struggling Red Bull will make for fantastic viewing.

Golf is a sport loved by millions of fans around the world, but there are definitely millions of Netflix subscribers who have never watched PGA Tour footage. While at first glance golf may not be one of the most exciting sports in the world, if ever there was a team that could add a layer of fun and excitement to the sport, it’s definitely the producers at Box to Box Films.
