Kirstie Alley passed away at the age of 71 after being diagnosed with cancer. People reported that she had been diagnosed with colon cancer, which was then confirmed by Alley’s representative. Her family made the announcement of her passing and it was later revealed that she was getting treatment for her cancer at a hospital in Florida, where she lived.

Unfortunately for Alley, the cancer was caught too late, and she passed not long after being diagnosed. Colon cancer is reportedly one of the more curable types of cancer, due to the existence of screenings from colonoscopies.
