Karthik Aryan meets Anurag Basu and Bhushan Kumar; Fans are clamoring to bring Shraddha Kapoor on board

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has announced that he will star in the heart-wrenching sequel Aashiqui 3. The third installment of the film will be directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Bhushan Kumar. The makers of Aashiqui 3 are yet to reveal details about the film. Last night, Karthik, Anurag and Bhushan were snapped in an office and fans speculated that the trio will be discussing the further development of Aashiqui 3. In September this year, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor Karthik made the big announcement by sharing a post on social media. His post read: “This is going to be heartbreaking!! My first with Basu Da’. In an interview to a media portal, Karthik said that Aashiqui 3 is like a dream come true for him and he grew up watching the Bollywood sequel. He even revealed that he is a big fan of Anurag’s work and that collaborating with him will shape him in several ways. Aashiqui 3: Kartik Aaryan, Bhushak Kumar and Anurag Basu spotted

One user wrote ‘Plz shraddha ko heroine lena’ while another commented saying ‘a woman should only be Shraddha Kapoor’. Earlier there was a buzz that Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt could be seen in Aashiqui 3. Looks like fans will have to wait to see the two together on the big screen. Aashiqui was released in 1990 and was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The film starred Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal. The second installment of Aashiqui was directed by Mohit Suri in 2013. The film starred Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.

On the work front, Aashiqui 3, Kartik Aaryan has Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani, Shehzada and Captain India in his slate. He is currently seen in Freddy with Alaya F. The movie is released on Disney+Hotstar. Freddy’s plot is about a shy dentist who turns into a killer by night.
