Following a series of successful collaborations, the science-meets-fashion brand PANGAIA launches a collaboration with the iconic footwear brand Timberland.
The synergies between PANGAIA and Timberland reflect a common goal to inspire and equip consumers to step outside and explore. The nature-driven partnership combines natural, recyclable materials with contemporary colours in instantly-recognisable silhouettes.
Consisting of two classic styles, the collection is sure to become a fan favourite among both women and men. The first offering is a new take on the classic 6-Inch Boot that retails for £200. They are crafted from in part from renewable materials such as responsibly grown rubber, abaca plant fiber, and organically grown cotton. They are currently available for purchase on PANGAIA.com, timberland.com, and select Timberland stores in signature PANGAIA colours as well as Timberland’s signature Wheat.
The second silhouette available is the Slip-On Mules that retail for £140. Designed with circularity in mind, the outsole and the inner bootie/webbing system are engineered to be easily disassembled at the end of the shoe’s life to encourage recycling. The mule will be available exclusively at Timberland.
Each piece in the Timberland x PANGAIA footwear capsule features one of PANGAIA’s signature text blocks describing the material composition. The text block on the boots states: “These boots are made in part using responsibly grown rubber, abaca plant fiber and organically grown cotton,” and the text block on the mule reads: “These shoes are made in part using responsibly grown rubber, abaca plant fiber and organically grown cotton. They are designed for circularity.”
With a focus on circularity, PANGAIA is donating a portion of the proceeds to the Tomorrow Tree Fund. This charity was created to support grassroots NGOs with a commitment to plant, protect and restore trees around the globe. The brand recently hit a 1.000,000 tree milestone with the fund.
