Shakira took to social media to post an enigmatic message on Thursday, one that has set off a chain of theories on social media.
The famous singer broke up with Barcelona defender Gerard Pique in the summer after spending 12 years together.

Following their break-up, Shakira and Gerard Pique are believed to be sending cryptic messages to each other.
For example, a source close to the Catalan said that the player had told friends “I feel younger”, allegedly referring to the age difference between his new girlfriend and his ex.
Yet, this time it was Shakira who may have sent a message through social media, although some believe that it had to do with her next single ‘Monotonia’.
“It wasn’t your fault…” read her message on Instagram and Twitter, with many wondering if this was a message for Pique about the way their relationship ended.
Shakira’s tough period
In her first interview after the break-up, the Colombian singer told a Spanish fashion magazine that she is going through a tough period, a phase she calls “her darkest hour”.
“I think that music is a life raft,” she told ELLE.
“There have been days when I had to pick up the pieces of me from the floor and the only way to do that, to actually do that, has been through music.
“You know, to really, like, put myself back together and to see myself in the mirror and know that I am a mom and my kids depend on me.”
