Sumbul Touqeer Khan made a stunning appearance with a dance performance on Sara Ali Khan’s song Chaka Chak from Atrangi Re. She also engaged with Salman Khan on the same. Salman matched her energy. Sumbul brought a lot of positive energy to the stage where she mimicked Salman as host of Bigg Boss 16 on Weekend Ka Vaar. It was a very funny segment. Archana makes fun of Sumbul’s name; Actress Imlie’s fans lashed out

In the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 16 First Day First Show, Salman Khan mispronounced her name. Sumbul corrected Salman by giving a reference to Chulbul Pandey. Later, while inside the Bigg Boss 16 house, we saw Archana Gautam and Shiv Thakare discussing Sumbul Touqeer’s name. Archana said that Shambhu is a name and added why the Imli actress was named Sumbul. This did not sit well with the Sumbul ARMY and the fans.
