After the disappointing performance of Runway 34 and Thank God, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn finally hit the bull’s eye with Drishyam 2. The much-awaited sequel became the third Bollywood film to go past the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide after Brahmastra and The Kashmir Files, per Hindustan Times. In addition to Devgn, the Abhishek Pathak directorial also features Tabu, Akshaye Khanna, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta in significant roles.
9. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
2022 was a tough year for Bollywood, but Kartik Aaryan managed to hit the ball out of the park as he teamed up with Kiara Advani for the sequel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa. While critics showered the actors for their strong performance in the horror comedy, the film earned Rs Rs 230.75 crore at the worldwide box office, per Indian Express. While Aaryan celebrated the success with a special post on gram, the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 gifted him a swanky McLaren GT worth crores.
10. Beast
While the success of KGF 2, RRR, Vikram and Kantara made a massive roar on social media, South superstar Vijay’s spy thriller Beast emerged as a silent hit minting approx Rs Rs 237 crore worldwide, per ABP. Helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film follows a RAW agent who overcomes his personal issues to save himself and other people held hostage in a mall by a group of terrorists. The film features actress Pooja Hegde in a pivotal role as well.
