Shah Rukh Khan is back in theaters after a gap of four years. The superstar is back on the big screen with Pathaan and reveals that his dream of being a true action hero in films is coming true. Helmed by Siddharth Anand Pataan is Yash Raj Films’ spy universe starring Shah Rukh Khan as the protagonist who is out to protect his country.
Bollywood’s Badshah talks about his 32-year-old dream of becoming an action hero on screen in a video released by Yash Raj Films. SRK revealed that he entered the film industry 32 years ago to be an action hero, but missed the boat because filmmakers made him a romantic hero instead. Referring to his journey, SRK struck a chord with the nation with his romantic heroes like Raj and Rahul. Although he loved all the cute boy roles he played, but he always aspired to be an action hero, so Pathaan is like a dream come true for King Khan.
Talking about his character in Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan says that he is an easygoing and mischievous guy who does a lot of hard work but doesn’t wear it on his sleeve. Pathaan is trusting, honest and very single minded thinking of India as his mother.

Shah Rukh Khan is collaborating with Deepika Padukone again after they worked together in films like Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and Chennai Express. The duo is one of the biggest on screen duo in Indian cinema. Talking about teaming up with the gorgeous DP, SRK said that one needs someone of Deepika’s stature to be able to do a song sequence like Besharam Rang, and then you will understand. He also added, “to be able to do action where she picks up a guy and pulls him on top of her and beats him up, she’s tough enough to do that as well. Such a combination could only be achieved with someone like Deepika. It’s quite a layered character for an action movie heroine, so to speak.”
Pathaan is Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe project starring the nations biggest superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The buzz around the film is huge and fans are going crazy for the film as it marks SRK’s comeback. Pathaan is slated to hit theaters on January 25, 20223 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
