The who, what, when, and where of LA Fashion Week.

Los Angeles Fashion Week just happened, so V made this to help you remember who did what this season.

LA Fashion Week started on Thursday, October 6th, and ran through Sunday, October 9th. The shows were held at a select few locations and showcased some of the best that LA fashion has to offer.

Kicking off the shows was AnOnlyChild by Maxwell Osborne on Thursday the 6th. This collection was shown at Lighthouse Artspace, which was where a lot of the shows were held.

AnOnlyChild’s collection was a masterful display of tailoring and played carefully with silhouettes on both male and female-leaning designs.

Then, Friday the 7th is when a majority of the events took place. The day started kind of early with Xiao Fen Couture, who also debuted their collection at the Lighthouse Artspace.

After their show was Chris Nick, presented by Asian Journal Group and Tech Edge Solutions. Nick’s show was also held at the same art space and played with the brand’s signature elevated minimalist motifs.

Following the two shows was a series of panels and discussions centered around the fashion industry before they got back into showcasing looks with Francis Libiran. The show was presented by Asian Journal Group and Tech Edge Solutions, who also sponsored the next show, Avel Bacudio.

The second to last show on the 7th was Issa Rae, of the hit show Insecure, and Delta, the airline’s, fashion collaboration with six small businesses that created a show fit for the modern jet-setter.

Rae’s collection was followed by a 10th-anniversary showcase of Fleur Du Mal and their signature, sexy lingerie and ready-to-wear collections.

Saturday the 8th kicked off with a show from Attachments. After them were a few panels before getting back into the fashion with Gypsy Sport, Revice Denim, and Sami Miro Vintage.

Gypsy Sport brought their Queer centered artistry with an emphasis on diversity of all kinds to the runway this season. Sami Miro Vintage also stayed true to their roots with designs focused on sustainability and ethically made collections.

The last day of LA Fashion Week consisted of just one show from Demobaza before the closing cocktail ceremony at The West Hollywood EDITION.

The week overall was a strong display of LA’s diverse fashion culture and also of many up-and-coming designers and brands that showed what the West Coast has to offer the fashion world.
