Liger collapses at the box office on Day 2
After an opening gross of ₹ 26 crore worldwide, leading to an irresistible distributor share for the entire territory of ₹ 15 crore, Liger was needed to make a decent jump at the box office, but the opposite happened. Liger did not take off well at the box office in any territory in India or overseas, despite being Vijay Deverakonda’s biggest debut so far, due to the huge cost involved, not to mention the negative reviews and word of mouth. Telugu: ₹16 crore gross
Hindi: ₹2 crore gross
