Victoria Beckham’s mysterious eating habits revealed by Rio Ferdinand

Former footballer Rio Ferdinand has something to say about his friendship with David and Victoria Beckham. Ferdinand spilled some tea about dining with the couple during training back when they all represented England in the World Cup.

During a recent interview with Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O, host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson confessed her obsession with Victoria’s diet. Apparently, the fashion designer is a super picky eater, and Jackie was dying to know more. But when Rio was asked about Victoria‘s eating habits, he admitted that he couldn’t remember seeing her eat anything specific.

“I’ve never seen her eat anything. I don’t remember anything that sticks out of my memory, to be honest,” he said. He did confirm, however, that she’s a nice person.

Of course, the radio hosts couldn’t resist joking around about asking a soccer player about another player’s wife. But Rio was on the show to promote his support of the advertising start-up WeAre8, which has a “zero-hate” policy.

Victoria diet has been controversial for years

Victoria’s diet has been a hot topic lately, especially after her husband David revealed that she only eats grilled fish and vegetables. The mother of four has been vocal about her love of healthy fats, like fish, avocado, and nuts, and she’s known to do detoxes where she doesn’t drink alcohol.

Earlier this year, David himself opened up about his wife’s eating habits during a podcast interview: “Since I met her, she only eats grilled fish and steamed vegetables. She will very rarely deviate from that,” he said.

Apparently, when Victoria was pregnant with their daughter Harper, she even asked for a smoked trout salad with no grapefruit, avocado, red onion, or lemon.

But not everyone is a fan of Victoria’s demands. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay once recalled a time when she requested a plain smoked trout salad with the dressing on the side, but the restaurant refused to make the alterations: “The lady’s pregnant! No one is asking to be fussy…. I still think that’s the customer’s prerogative…. It was a sour note,” he said.
