Urfi Javed, who is known for his outlandish fashion, has reportedly been detained by the Dubai Police for filming a video wearing a revealing outfit. The Bigg Boss OTT fame recently flew to Dubai. She shared several videos of her trip on her Instagram account.
According to reports, Urfi is being questioned by authorities in Dubai about the revealing outfit she wore at her photo shoot. Apparently, Urfi had no problem revealing herself, but the location she chose to shoot the video was outdoors, where people found her outfit too revealing.
“She had shot a video for her Instagram in an outfit she made which was revealing according to people here in Dubai. The fact that there is no problem with the clothing, but the place where she shot the video was an open space and they don’t I don’t think it’s allowed to wear what she was wearing. She is being questioned by the police. Let’s see what happens,” said a source quoted by TOI.
Her team declined to comment on the development. It is also being said that Urfi’s return ticket to India may also be canceled as the Dubai police are questioning her.
Earlier in the day, Urfi shared that she was diagnosed with laryngitis in Dubai. She shared a video on Instagram Stories in which she confirmed the news that she is suffering from laryngitis and tonsillitis. She has yet to comment on reports of her being detained by authorities.
Meanwhile, Urfi was recently seen on Sunny Leone and Arjun Bijlani’s dating reality show Splitsvilla X4 on MTV. She showed off her unusual fashion statements. She also made a cameo in the Netflix show Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives wearing a leopard print monokini. Although Urfi is often criticized for her outlandish fashion statement, she believes it is useless to pay attention to trolls.
