The charm of Bollywood movies keeps one hooked. No matter what genre they may be in, they promise to be loads of fun. Without further ado, let’s see what Bollywood has to offer this November. From Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Uunchai’ to Ajay Devgn’s ‘Drishyam 2’, the line-up is irresistible.
Phone Bhoot – 4 November
Directed by Gurmmeet Singh, ‘Phone Bhoot’ is a horror-comedy starring Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi as two bumbling desi ghostbusters who along with a business-minded ghost essayed by Katrina Kaif, decide to free a lot of lost spirits (pun intended).
Uunchai – 11 November
Uunchai is the story of three ‘old’ friends who decide to trek to the Everest Base Camp for a friend. As they battle physical limitations, given their age and experiment with freedom, what starts out as a straightforward trek becomes a personal, emotional and spiritual experience. Starring superstars Amitabh Bachchan, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani, ‘Uunchai’ has been directed by Sooraj Barjatya.
Yodha – 11 November
This action thriller features Sidharth Malhotra playing a soldier who must rescue passengers from a hijacked plane, fight terrorists, and devise a survival plan when the plane’s engine dies. ‘Yodha’ is produced by Dharma Productions and co-directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. This action flick also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.
Drishyam 2 – 18 November
‘Drishyam 2’ is a sequel to ‘Drishyam’ (2015) directed by Jeethu Joseph. Our hero Ajay Devgn is joined by Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor and Ishita Dutta, as they star in this captivating story about an investigation that threatens to ruin a family. Will Vijay Salgaonkar defend his family successfully once again?
Bhediya – 25 November
Amar Kaushik’s horror comedy ‘Bhediya’ stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, along with Deepak Dobriyal. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, the movie revolves around a human-turned-werewolf, who is as much a victim as its predator.
Spoilt for choice aren’t you? We leave you to take your pick – whether you want to watch just one or two or all of them. Our bet is you won’t miss any. So block your dates, sound out your family and friends and head to the theatres for a fun-filled month full of films which promise unadulterated fun.
