The University of Cambridge is a research university located in Cambridge, United Kingdom. Founded in 1209, Cambridge is the third oldest operating university in the world.

It continues to be one of the most famous universities in the world. It has no main campus, but is home to 31 constituent colleges and more than 150 academic departments, faculties and institutions operating across six schools. The Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) is offered by the University of Cambridge and is offered over four years on a full-time basis. An on-campus course, it strengthens students’ aptitude for the analytical, computational and design skills that underpin modern engineering systems.

In Part I (Years 1 and 2), students understand the fundamentals of engineering, making it easier for them to choose their specialization wisely from their third year.

Then, in Part II (Years 3 and 4), they receive detailed training in this vocational subject.

Eligibility criteria

• Students must have had maths to A-level, Advanced Higher, Higher Level in IB (40 to 42 points, with 776 at Higher Level) or equivalent.
• Students must have had A Level/IB Higher in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
• Cambridge English: C1 Advanced – with an overall score of at least 193, excluding the language center assessment.
• Cambridge English: C2 Proficiency – with an overall score of at least 200.
• Students must have a minimum IELTS or TOEFL or PTE score to qualify for this program.

Eligibility for Indian Students:

Students studying class XII must score high in their respective subjects.

CISCE and NIOS students must have a minimum of 90% in at least five subjects

• CBSE – Students must have five or more A1 grades in relevant subjects
• State Boards – Student grades will be considered on a case-by-case basis. They must obtain at least 95% in a minimum of five relevant subjects.

• College Board Advanced Placement Tests – Must have achieved scores on at least five AP tests
• IIT-JEE (Advanced) – Must have a rank below 2000 in Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Natural Sciences (Physics) in IIT JEE (Advanced)

VISA and work training

• The UK Office for International Students provides visa advice on a range of issues relating to UK students. Students must have appropriate immigration permission allowing them to be in the UK.

UK Student Visas: Types

• The work-study program allows students to work on campus only if students are full-time students:
