“Tunisha Sharma’s mother is in a terrible condition,” reveals the late actress’ uncle as they receive the remains for cremation

On December 24, Tunisha Sharma was found hanging in her former friend and Ali Baba colleague Shizan Khan’s dressing room. After the pair split 15 days ago, a stressed-out Tunisha had slipped into depression, which may have prompted her to take the extreme step on Christmas Eve. After the post-mortems were completed at JJ Hospital, Tunisha’s mother and other family members reached Bhayandar Government Hospital to receive the mortal remains of the late actress. Tunisha’s mother looked unwell as her brother and relatives were seen supporting her as she left the hospital. When asked about Tunisha’s mother’s condition, her uncle said: “She is in a terrible condition, I don’t want to talk about it. Whatever happens will happen after the 28th, the police are doing the investigation.” He further revealed that Tunisha’s last rites will be performed at the residence around 3-4pm on December 27th and then she will be taken to the crematorium. Soon after her body was found, Tunisha’s uncle Sanjeev Kaushal informed the media that almost two weeks ago, she suffered an anxiety attack and was admitted to a Mumbai hospital. She informed him and her mother how she was wronged and cheated and the Sharma family has demanded that the culprit responsible for the state of affairs should not be spared. Tunisha’s mother later said in a video statement that Shizan betrayed her daughter, promised to marry her and then used her for 3-4 months before suddenly breaking up. She accused Shizan of cheating on “my child” and was allegedly involved with another woman even when he was steady with Tunisha, and demanded that the police spare him no mercy.

Among other things that emerged in the police investigation is that the duo had frequent fights but met for lunch last Saturday and hours later, Tunisha was found hanging in one of the toilets on a set in Vasai area.
