Over the years, we’ve seen a wide range of unique NBA jerseys released. From classic throwbacks like the Purple Utah Jazz jerseys with snow-capped mountains, to the new annual City Edition jerseys, we’ve seen it all. Thankfully, the sleeved jerseys of the mid-2010s era have long been forgotten, and now it’s all about the throwbacks.

We’ve seen some iconic jerseys, and we’ve seen some huge celebrities getting into the mix courtside with their favorite jerseys. On Wednesday, the league celebrates NBA Jersey Day, where fans take to social media to show off their favorite jerseys. This year marks the third edition of NBA Jersey Day, and with a slew of games on tap, the fun is only just beginning.

Last year, the NBA put together a compilation video for its YouTube Channel featuring celebrities over the years rocking their favorite jerseys. Although the video features some high-profile names like Selena Gomez, who was rocking a Spurs jersey courtside, or Tracy Morgan, who was awarded with his own custom jersey, there were also some memorable ones they left out.

For the NBA’s third jersey day, we’re counting down five slick jerseys from celebrity fans courtside.

Top 5 celebrities rocking slick NBA Jerseys

#5, Lil Jon (Atlanta Hawks)

Lil Jon can be seen towards the end of the video above rocking an Atlanta Hawks jersey courtside. Back in 2006, the Atlanta DJ & Rapper threw on his custom No. 04 jersey to attend the Hawks vs. Heat game. The jersey was none other than a 2004-07 Atlanta Hawks alternate jersey – an incredibly uncommon one.

#4, Rihanna (Miami Heat)

What can’t Rihanna do? In 2013, during the height of the Miami Heat’s Big Three era, the Grammy award-winning singer attended a game courtside. In addition to bringing plenty of attention along with her, Rihanna was proudly wearing a custom Heat jersey, while happily waving around a LeBron James jersey as well. That wasn’t all, she also made sure to don some Heat sunglasses.

#3, Nipsey Hussle (LA Lakers)

This jersey wasn’t one that made the NBA’s Jersey Day video, but as the old saying goes … if you know you know. In 2018 Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo came to blows during a LA Lakers vs. Houston Rockets game. As the scuffle spilled over onto the baseline, rapper Nipsey Hussle was seen pulling up his pants just in case he had to throw some haymakers should the fight spill over to his section.

Hussle’s crisp Lakers outfit, complete with a Shaquille O’Neal jersey and Lakers hat, stood out to many after the fact.

#2, Kevin Hart (Philadelphia 76ers)

Sometimes less is more, and Kevin Hart proved it when he rocked the classic button-up Philadelphia 76ers warmup. The retro jersey was an incredibly clean and slick tribute to the vintage warm-ups the team used to wear. The classic vintage look is without question one of the most unique and one of the slickest jerseys in the NBA Jersey Day video.

#1, Snoop Dogg (LA Lakers)

Snoop D-O-Double-G, one of the biggest names in hip-hop today, and an artist who transcended eras with his rhymes takes the top spot for NBA Jersey Day.

Although there could be a whole top five of just Snoop Dogg outfits, it’s his diamond No. 8 jersey outfit that takes the cake. During Game 4 of the 2002 NBA Finals, Snoop donned a custom jersey, complete with yellow sweatpants and the infamous Kobe ADIDAS 2s.

To date, the outfit remains one of the most iconic in hoops culture, especially given the fact that Nate Dogg was courtside with Snoop.

Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg sat courtside and watched the Lakers sweep the Nets in the 2002 NBA Finals. https://t.co/J3EPDt5fA4
