TISS to conduct online personal interviews

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai has started conducting online personal interviews for admission to this academic session.

According to the report published in HT, TISS will also help candidates with limited internet resources for the interview. The Institute has made special arrangements to meet this difficulty. The step was taken in view of the restrictions and ban on interstate travel due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

All the selected candidates will first have to register with the institute and then they will be given a schedule for a personal interview, HT reported.

The institute, in case of candidates who do not have internet access, will also help them to get e-pass to move to the place where they have internet access.

The Progressive Student Forum, one of the student organizations at TISS, has requested to make the online process available to all applicants. They also requested that applicants be given the opportunity to reschedule their interviews due to the lack of internet access, COVID-19 and natural disasters.

The official Twitter account of TISS, Mumbai Human Resource Management & Labor Relations which is maintained by the Candidate Relations Committee also helps the students to prepare for the online personal interviews.
