ICYDK: This Cebuano fashion creative graced Mugler’s fall/winter 2022-2023 runway
After making waves online with their at-home photo shoots and cinched and skin-barring designs, Cebuano fashion creative Lukresia fulfilled their Mugler fantasy by gracing its fall/winter 2022-2023 runway show last January in Paris, France.
The Filipino model and fashion designer joined supermodels Shalom Harlow and Mariacarla Boscono and actresses Lisa Rinna, Amber Valletta, and Dominique Jackson, among others, during the maison’s first show in fashion week after three years. The show was also the first live runway of Casey Cadwallader as the brand’s creative director. Leather, sheer, lace, and dramatic drapery dominated the Cadwallader’s runway show. It also merged traditional runway presentation with technology as models walked down the runway with moving cameras, adding flair to an already stunning fashion display.
This is not the first Lukresia was recognized by the brand. Last December, they appeared on its Instagram feed wearing a piece from the Mugler Wolford Collection, a look similar to what pop star Dua Lipa wore onstage during her “Future Nostalgia” World Tour.
