There’s no denying that Karan Johar reveals a lot of personal details about Bollywood celebrities and their lives on his popular chat show Koffee With Karan 7. From Sara Ali Khan-Karthik Aryan’s relationship to Ananya Panday-Ishaan Khatter’s breakup, Karan took the guests surprised him in the cafe by confirming their relationship rumors.
In his recent interview, Karan Johar was asked about netizens accusing him of leaking personal information about celebrities publicly on his show without their consent. In response to this, the director said that he is only telling the truth and he thinks everyone is fine with it as everyone knows about it.
“But everybody knows about these relationships. I’m not making anything up, everybody’s seen them together. What’s true is true and I guess everybody’s fine with that. I know people think it’s some big revelation , everyone knows about everyone’s personal life and they are fine with letting it out,” Karan told Siddharth Kannan.
On KWK 7, Karan confirmed that Sara is dating Karthik and then they broke up. He also talked about Ananya breaking up with Ishaan and now being in love with Aditya Roy Kapur. He also revealed that Sara and Janhvi Kapoor have dated siblings in the past. He also prompted Ananya to hint about Vijay Deverakonda’s relationship status with Rashmika Mandana.
In the show’s latest promo, Karan was seen asking Sonam Kapoor about Arjun Kapoor, “How many of your friends has he slept with?” To which Sonam, including her real-life brother Harshvardhan Kapoor, replied, “I won’t discuss it, between my brothers not there is no one left”
Karan burst out laughing and said, “What kind of brothers do you have?” To which Pat got the reply from Arjun, “What kind of sister are you, what are you talking about us. Why do I feel like I’m being drafted into this show to be trolled by Sonam.’
