According to the sources, around 80 employees are expected to be transferred and transferred to other departments from where they are currently posted.
Some of the DASS Grade-I recruitment officers have been interviewed for the selection of posts in the revenue department like sub-registrars and tehsildars. While some have been interviewed for other departments as well, the sources added.
The Indian Express reported last week that the Delhi Chief Secretary held a meeting in this regard and also directed all Heads of Departments (HODs) to submit the list of officers/employees posted in the departments for a longer period of time. They were also asked to submit an action taken report by July 7.
The Vigilance Department has also written a letter to all departments to undertake the exercise at the earliest.
In this mass reshuffle, all officers and officials working in one department and those working with HODs, Secretaries or Ministers of their choice for several years will be transferred to other departments.
βTo conduct detailed drills for all officials including those who are working in the personal sections of HODs/Secretaries for a longer period as it has been observed that some officials are returning to the personal section after a gap of several month to cancel the tenure instructions,β the vigilance department had earlier said in an order.
The last major reshuffle took place last month soon after the appointment of new Lt. Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena, when around 40 employees were transferred.
