It has been something of a mixed start to the Championship season for Gary Rowett’s Millwall team.
Having shown signs of potential to push for a top six spot during the previous campaign, and despite a reasonably solid transfer window, the Lions have yet to really get going on a consistent basis.
But with the table still rather congested at this early stage, the London club are still not far away from another push for the play-offs.
Among those who will be hoping for a climb up the table from Rowett’s men in the coming months, are a number of famous faces, somes of whom you may have spotted at The Den from time to time.
So with that in mind, we’ve taken a look at some of the celebrities who supposedly support Millwall, right here.
Danny Baker
One recognisable name from the world of broadcasting who is a supporter of Millwall, is Danny Baker.
A regular figure as a presenter on both television and radio over the years, Baker has also previously been a contestant on I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here…
Baker is also a regular visitor to The Den to watch Millwall home games, and did not hide his feelings when taking to Twitter to react to his side’s recent 2-0 defeat to QPR.
Which club do these 20 ex-Millwall youth players now play for?
Daniel Day Lewis
Another big name from the world of entertainment who is a follower of Gary Rowett’s side, is Daniel Day Lewis.
Generally considered one of the greatest and most well renowned actors of his generation, the 65-year-old is one of just a handful of people to have on won a Best Actor Oscar on three seperate occasions.
But having been born in London, it is perhaps no huge surprise that Day-Lewis has previously revealed that he is a supporter of Millwall.
David Haye
It is not just in the world of entertainment where Millwall have some well known followers, but elsewhere in the world of sport as well.
A former heavyweight World Boxing champion – and indeed, another ex I’m A Celebrity contestant – David Haye is another who was born in the home of Millwall: Bermondsey in London.
As a result, it is perhaps no surprise that in the lead-up to his World Title fight win over Nikolay Valuev, Haye admitted that he is indeed a Millwall fan.
