ARMY rejoiced when Park Jimin was announced as the global ambassador for Dior, one of the most expensive fashion brands in the world. Even before the news sunk in, Valentino made it official that SUGA, aka Min Yoongi, had joined the brand as one of their ambassadors. The brand believes that he represents the philosophy of the label, which is Di.Vas (Different Values). SUGA aka Min Yoongi wore a suit by Maison Valentino for the LA Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks basketball game.
Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli described SUGA in a press statement as a “multifaceted artist.” It further said, “He is a translator and uses his talent and work to express himself with energy and authenticity. It perfectly embodies everything DI.VA.s stands for: diversity, inclusion, creativity and passion.” The rapper and singer said Valentino and Piccioli support diversity, something he believes in as well.

SUGA aka Min Yoongi will be seen in the Maison Valentino Essentials campaign dedicated to the brand’s menswear essentials. Valentino, which is an Italian brand from Rome, now has Sir Lewis Hamilton as one of its menswear ambassadors. Chinese celebrity Li Rongao is also part of the team. Min Yoongi aka SUGA had a good 2022. His collaboration with PSY That That became one of the most successful award-winning songs.
