Formula 1 fans described Sky Sport’s interview with Steve Carell as the ‘highlight of the Dutch Grand Prix’.
It comes after the Hollywood star was left stunned by a close-up camera before the race, reports The Sun.
Max Verstappen raced to a record ninth straight win in front of a jubilant home crowd on Sunday.

The Red Bull ace is closing in on another F1 title.
But it was the name Carell who made a surprise appearance before the race to give his views on the state of the sport that stole the show.
The comedian couldn’t resist the light-hearted approach to the proceedings.
And he left fans in hysterics with a joking remark about how close the Sky Sports camera zoomed in on his face.
That’s before we do some rib-tickling F1 analysis before declaring that the upcoming Las Vegas GP will “have a different vibe”.
Carell is known for roles in films such as The Anchorman, as well as starring in the US office.
But some supporters said his F1 appearance was as good as any – while also proving to be the most exciting thing about the Dutch GP.
One of them said: “The nail of this race is Steve Carell in the paddock!”
Another stated: “He’s just a naturally funny guy.”
One noted: “Showing the ‘stars’ how it’s done on the griddle.”
Another added: “The funniest thing to happen today.”
F1 grid interviews have become must-see TV as Sky Sports’ Martin Brandl makes his way around the track.
There was much controversy in the 2023 F1 season, with Brundle being brutally overlooked by Cara Delevingne.
He was then overheard by a member of the Red Bull team during the Monaco Grand Prix while trying to speak to team boss Christian Horner.
It’s not all carnage though, as Brandl was showered with praise from Hollywood power couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
A walk on the grid will always be unmissable on TV with Carell adding his name to the good books with F1 fans.
