Sushant Singh Rajput’s celebrity manager Disha Salian’s ex-beau and actor Rohan Rai is all set to tie the knot with his ‘Piyaa Albela’ co-star Sheen Dass on April 22, in Kashmir. Rohan Rai fell in love almost two years after the controversial demise of her ex Disha Salian. The two were engaged at the time of Disha Salian’s death.
Rohan Rai’s wedding is set to take place in Kashmir and will be attended by his friends and family members, with a handful of people from the film industry. Disha Salian was a celebrity manager and passed away in 2020. Her death was ruled out as an accident by the CBI.
The 28-year-old used to manage several A-list celebrities from the film fraternity including Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead in his Mumbai apartment less than a week after Disha Salian’s death.
Rohan Rai and Sheen Dass’s wedding festivities will start with haldi and mehendi ceremonies a day before the wedding. Talking about the location, in an interview with Etimes, Rohan Rai said, “Sheen’s family gets quite emotional whenever they talk about Kashmir, so we wanted to build some beautiful memories there. The wedding will be a two-day intimate ceremony. Besides our families, a few close industry friends have been invited.”
Rohan and Sheen started working on the show in 2018, however, reconnected after Disha Salina’s death. In his interview, he revealed that during a cordial shot, they met each other and became close friends as he was going through a rough patch.
Sheen in the same interview said, “What happened was very unfortunate. When we started talking, it would break my heart to see him go through all that. I was concerned for him as a friend. Now that we are getting married, I tell everyone I am marrying a friend.”
She also added, “One day, I told him that I was meeting marriage prospects and he should also give marriage serious thought. That’s when he asked me if I would consider spending a year to understand each other and see if we could spend our lives together. The best thing about our relationship is that we are compatible, and he is emotionally available.”
Sheen and Rohan both confessed that neither of them proposed to each other, but as they fell in love, things settled out in their manner. Many claim that Disha Sanial was allegedly killed, but last year CBI ruled out her death as an accident.
