The camera often lingers on Jung’s face in close-up, not just because of her beauty – before starting her acting career, she was an international model who walked in shows for Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Burberry and Louis Vuitton, and is currently one of of N°1 de Chanel— but because of the weight of emotion he delivers with just his face. But Jung has a lot to say in that voice, especially about how her career has exploded since the release of Squid game. She signed with CAA, won Best Actress at the SAG Awards (giving an emotional speech that instantly made her the darling of the night), and booked a role in The governessesfilm A24 in which she will star opposite Lily-Rose Dep and The worst person in the worldis a breakthrough Renate Reinsve.
