Soundarya Sharma slams Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s selective outrage; says: “I was horrified…” [Exclusive]

Soundarya Sharma was eliminated from the show last weekend. Many felt it was unfair that she should be evicted by the housemates’ decision. In a candid chat with Bollywood Life, she tells us, “I’ve had an amazing journey, but I’ll always feel like I wasn’t eliminated with the audience votes. If I didn’t deserve it, why was the decision left to the other contestants. But every journey must come to an end and I am an eternal optimist. What I’m about to say now won’t make any sense. Talking about the endless character assassinations and slut-shaming she faced on the show, Soundarya says, “I’ve been killed the most by characters from Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta. I would say it affects your personality. It shows who they are. ” She says she told Archana Gautam not to comment on people’s profession on the show. Soundarya Sharma tells us she saw the video where Priyanka Chahar Choudhary laughs at her along with Shalin Bhanot, Tina Datta and Sreejita De. “I was horrified to see her in this discussion. But then God bless them. They are complicated people. I’d say they’re like trolls,” she says. Talking about Archana Gautam, she said, “I have no insecurities about people stealing my limelight. I never felt threatened by Archana Gautam. I just told her to be a good listener. Our relationship is real, not one of convenience. We will be friends.” Commenting on Shalin Bhanot and Tina Dutta’s much talked about love story, she said, “They are two mature individuals. They know what they are doing on the show. Now the whole world knows what they share.” The model and actress is furious with the two. She says, “Shalin Bhanot is a freak. He has said nastiest things about me. Even about Tina Dutta. Yeh naa unke sanskaar main hai. I never ignored all this. There are people who laughed with him when made comments like that. Now they’re talking about empowering women. She says that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is selective Sachai Ki Murat in the show. “She stuck with people who talked nonsense. When Shiv Thakare raised the issue of Gautam Vig, no one stood up for me. Inside, when people say something about others, they want to feed that fan narrative. But you can’t rise by pulling others down.” The actress says that now everyone will be talking about women’s empowerment, sexism and whatnot. “People who didn’t stand up for me, it reflects on them. Now they need content, so they will bring up such questions in the show,” she signs off.
