Siddharth Anand responds to comparisons of Pathaan with Hollywood films
Pathaan has been dominating the Entertainment News section ever since it released on 25 January 2023. And now director Siddharth Anand has made news for his reaction to Pathaan, which was compared to Hollywood films and called a pale imitation of Western films. Siddharth said comparisons are inevitable when a film is different from conventional Bollywood films. The director adds that the infrastructure, technology and budget of Hollywood films are much better than those of Bollywood. Siddharth said that the filmmakers are ambitious and also have the ability to edit the films, but language limits the scope of the films. “Our earnings are directly proportional to the budgets we can afford,” said the director of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer.
Siddharth Anand reveals that he executes scripts through his son
Siddharth Anand admitted that he has only seen two of the MCU films and is not a fan of the genre. However, his son is a big fan of these movies. Siddharth says his son is like an encyclopedia. His son instructs him and keeps him informed. So, Siddharth plays sequences through his son, who then tells him what has been done. “So I take ideas from him on how to maneuver things. I think I need to get on the bandwagon and start watching these movies so there is no overlap,” he added. Well, we bet Siddharth will put more creative effort into his films.
