Shraddha Kapoor was much loved as the protagonist of the film who spoke about the brutality towards women in a funny way. Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree is one of the highest grossers of her career. Now she made a super interesting revelation about Strey. Speaking at the CNN News18 Rising India-She Shakti conclave in New Delhi, she said that she has asked the makers to make it a full-fledged role from a cameo role.
From a cameo to a starring role in Stry
Shraddha Kapoor plays the mysterious woman Rajkummar Rao falls in love with in Stree. Speaking at the event, she said that when the film was offered, she got a cameo role. She said she was so amazed and amused by the idea that she asked them if she could be in the main cast. It seems the larger social message has her hooked. She said at the event: “Can I be part of the cast? Can it not be a special appearance? I don’t want to feel like it’s a special appearance.”
Shraddha Kapoor said they hit it off instantly and she felt proud when her picture was used in the film’s poster. She said that it is very difficult to make socially relevant films in an entertaining way. With Stree, the production house did it very successfully.

Shraddha Kapoor said she is quick to gauge how much reach she will get as an actress in a film. She said in the first meeting that you know how cooperative the team is. It also depends on the energy of the producer and the director. She said that if an actress is in doubt about how the role will be presented, she should ask people beforehand. She was quoted as saying, “If you feel like your character isn’t going to be given equal importance or portrayed in the right way, then be aware of that. Take time to ask questions. Look for the red flags.”
