It has been a few weeks since multiple reports claimed that all is not well between Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik for quite some time and they are heading for a divorce. Shoaib recently refused to comment on the divorce rumors and termed it as their personal matter. Amidst this, Shoaib shared the latest promo of his upcoming talk show The Mirza Malik Talk Show.
Netizens were left divided with mixed reactions to Shoaib’s post. One Instagram user wrote: “They are definitely divorced. They are no longer tagged or mentioned in their posts. I think they are legally required for the show not to announce their divorce.” Followed by another user who commented, “I think it’s a show ko hit karwane kelie hi divorce ka rumors spread kya tha.” And there were others who chose to believe that all is well between Shoaib and Sania.
Shoaib recently refused to comment on his divorce rumors with Sania and was quoted as saying by TOI, “It is our personal matter. Neither I nor my wife can answer that question. Leave him alone.” On the other hand, a close friend of the estranged couple told InsideSport that Shoaib and Sania are officially divorced and confirmed that they have separated.
Shoaib was rumored to have cheated on Sania with Pakistani model and actress Ayesha Omar, who recently addressed rumors of her marriage plans with the cricketer. She replied to a fan that they are good friends and she has no intention of marrying Shoaib and wished the latter and Sania a happy married life. According to reports, Sania and Shoaib live separately and are parents to their son Izhaan.
However, there is still no confirmation of a possible split, although the duo’s social media posts and cryptic captions suggest something is amiss. They got married in 2010.
