Shah Rukh Khan recently attended the Red Sea International Film Festival after wrapping up the shoot for Rajkumar Hirani’s upcoming film Dunki in Saudi Arabia. The Pathaan actor was honored at the festival for his contribution to Indian cinema. When his name was announced and he stood up, “Basic Instinct” star Sharon Stone was in complete disbelief when she noticed him sitting right next to her. Now she has revealed how she was smitten by Shah Rukh Khan at the festival.
During the interview, Sharon was asked about her lively reaction by the interviewer and she replied that she is not easily impressed by a star, but when she saw him, he couldn’t help but gasp when she saw him. The actress was seen clapping and uttering ‘oh my god’ in the viral video.
Speaking about the incident, Sharon said, “Shah Rukh Khan was two seats away from me and I didn’t know he was there. I reached forward and saw it and it doesn’t strike me very easily because I know a lot of stars but I saw it and I was just like,’ as I recreated her gasp moment.
Responding to Sharon’s reaction, SRK was seen humbly greeting the actress with a ‘salaam’. Since then, SRK’s fans have gone berserk over the clip. One fan wrote: “My favorite part of today’s event, Sharon Stone’s reaction when she found out Shah Rukh Khan was sitting next to her.. We can’t blame her, can we?”
SRK’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge co-star Kajol also attended the event along with Oscar- and Grammy-winning composer AR Rahman. SRK and Kajol graced the stage together and recreated their Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge moments.
