According to La Vangardia, this Saturday Shakira will fly to Barcelona to personally deliver the children to Pique, and they will remain with their father until at least June 19.
“That is two days after the scheduled date to compensate for the 48-hour delay,” the Spanish media outlet explains.
Confusion about where Pique and his children would meet
There has been much speculation this week about the place where the president of Kosmos would meet his children, and it was even said that he would see them in Colombia.
That theory grew after Pique and Clara Chia were spotted leaving the building where the Colombian consulate in Barcelona is located.
In addition, last weekend Shakira traveled with her children to her native Barranquilla to see her parents, William Mebarak and Nidia Ripoll, which made many people think that her ex-partner could be there for her children.
However, those doubts have been dispelled and now it is known that it is the Colombian herself who will take a plane with Milan and Sasha and return to the Spanish city that was her home for so many years and from which she had a bitter goodbye two months ago.
It should be remembered that in the custody agreement made by the former couple, Shakira is entitled to 20 days a month with the children and Pique to 10.
When the children are on vacation that situation changes completely because then 30 percent of their time corresponds to the singer and 70 percent to the former Barcelona defender, according to Nacional.
