Earlier today, we had reported that filmmaker Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela Chopra, who last appeared in the docu-series The Romantics, passed away in Mumbai. If reports are to be believed, the singer-writer was admitted in Leelavati Hospital for the past fifteen days due to age-related illness. In the evening, many members of the film fraternity visited the Chopra residence in Juhu to pay their last respects to Mrs. Chopra and it included stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Shraddha Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan, John Abraham, among others.

Readers would recall that YRF films have been instrumental in making some of the biggest films in Bollywood including the iconic romantic drama Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, and the recent record-breaking film Pathaan, both starring Shah Rukh Khan. The superstar arrived at the residence with his son Aryan Khan.
Aamir Khan featured in Dhoom 3. Katrina Kaif worked with YRF on Yash Chopra’s last directorial Jab Tak Hai Jaan which also co-starred Anushka Sharma. Ranveer Singh was one of the first actors to be launched by YRF in the film Band Baaja Baarat alongside Anushka Sharma whereas his wife Deepika Padukone was the leading lady of Pathaan. John Abraham who has been associated with Dhoom and Pathaan also visited the Chopra residence.
Hrithik Roshan, who has been a part of YRF ventures like Dhoom 2 and War, has also been a childhood friend of Aditya and Uday Chopra. He was seen having consoling a disheartened Uday during his recent visit and a video of the same has found its way online.
Besides them, many other members like Manisha Koirala, Nitin Mukesh, Shilpa Shetty, Shabana Azmi, Simi Garewal, among others also arrived to pay their respects. Pamela Chopra is survived by her sons Aditya Chopra, his wife Rani Mukerji, and Chopra’s second son Uday Chopra.
