It’s a blockbuster year for Shah Rukh Khan, after the success of Pathaan he is gearing up for two upcoming films titled Jawan and Dunki. The shooting of Jawan has wrapped up and fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser release of the most awaited film of the year. Also, fans want more from the superstar and it is reported that he will be collaborating with his daughter Suhana Khan for one of his upcoming projects. The actor has already worked professionally with his son Aryan Khan on an ad for his clothing brand D’yavol X. Now he is excited to join hands with his young lady for a film.
According to Pinkvilla reports, newbie Suhana Khan has bagged her second film but her first theatrical release. Her debut film The Archies will be released OTT and her big screen debut will be with her father. The father-daughter film remains untitled. The said film will also be a reunion of Shahrukh Khan and director Siddharth Anand, who helmed Pataan. It will be produced by the actor’s home production company Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
A source close to the development informed the entertainment news portal that SRK and Siddharth Anand will be working in different capacities in this film after Pathaan. The pre-production of the film to be titled has reportedly already started and stakeholders are keen to release the film on floors. Shah Rukh will start working on the project mostly by the end of the year after wrapping Dunki. The actor and director have a desire to develop their own bond even more by venturing into co-production.
The film will be the first collaboration between the actor and director Pathaan as producers. Reportedly, due to the demand of the script, Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan have come together. The source added, “This is a topic that organically calls for this casting and all details are being kept under wraps for now. Both Shahrukh and Suhana are excited to collaborate professionally.” If Pinkvilla reports are to be believed, father-daughter duo Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan will be collaborating professionally for the first time.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has multiple projects in the pipeline including Jawan, Dunki and Tiger Vs Pathaan. Suhana Khan will debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, which is slated to release on Netflix in November 2023.
