In a short span of her filmography of five years, Sara Ali Khan is seen exploring a variety of genres. The actress is gearing to feature in films of multiple genres including the psychological thriller Gaslight, Dinesh Vijan’s next, a rom-com, Homi Adajania’s next which is a the murder mystery or a period drama like Ae Watan Mere Watan. While she is constantly trying to dabble in between several characters and films, the actress opened up about her dream role.

Recently during a live show event, when asked about her dream role Sara expressed her desire to work with content-driven filmmakers in the industry currently, and adding further, she answered, “Honestly, I want to do various kinds of films. An urban young girl directed by Zoya Akhtar, or an emotional family drama directed by Karan Johar, or a period film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I mean, I want to do everything.”
In the live show event, Sara won the audience’s hearts with her witty and quick answers in rapid-fire rounds.
On the work front, Sara has wrapped up three films last year. Now, she is looking at an even busier 2023 where she will be next seen in Gaslight opposite Vikrant Massey, Maddock’s next opposite Vicky Kaushal, Ae Watan Mere Watan. The actress also has the multi starrer Anurag Basu’s Metro.. Inn Dino, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, among others. Along with that, the film Murder Mubarak has also been added among other projects in the pipeline.
