The ladies are often pitted against each other and are said to be rivals. However, Jhanvi and Sara proved that there is nothing but healthy competition between the two and are really good friends in real life. They even appeared together on Coffee With Karan. However, Sara Ali Khan recently disagreed with one of the statements made by Janhvi Kapoor.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sara Ali Khan was asked about a statement made by Janhvi Kapoor about respect. The Dhadak actress had once said that she has been given many opportunities to grow in her career but is yet to get respect. On this, Sara Ali Khan disagreed with her. She said she felt she didn’t feel she was being respected enough. She said she accepts people accepting her as she is as a sign of respect. She said, “I think for me if you accept me the way I am, that’s the biggest sign of respect and I think I got that very early in my career.” She tried to explain Janhvi Kapoor’s statement and said , that actress Gunjan Saxena may have meant that they need to prove themselves as actors.
Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming venture
Sara Ali Khan is currently busy promoting Gaslight, which also stars Vikrant Massey and Chitrangada Singh. The film releases on Disney+Hotstar on March 31. The trailer has left many intrigued and fans are looking forward to it. The film falls under the horror genre and we will see the relationship of a wheelchair bound Sara Ali Khan facing her fears.
