For the past few weeks, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s social media engagements have been almost non-existent. She has failed to engage with her fans and has not been seen going out in public. Samantha was rumored to have reduced her public appearances to avoid the spotlight on her life after her divorce from ex-husband Naga Chaitanya. However, if the latest report is to be believed, Samantha has been facing some health issues which have apparently restricted her public movements.
According to Bollywood Hungama, Samantha is not keeping well as of now. She has been advised to avoid public appearances altogether. Apparently, she has also postponed the next schedule of her upcoming Telugu film Kushi, in which she will be seen sharing space with Vijay Deverakonda. The exact nature of her ill health is still unknown.
A few months ago, Samantha’s absence from social media had her fans worried about her mental health. While some of her fans felt that the cheesy Pushpa might be on a social media detox, others believed that she was just not in the mood to interact with anyone for personal reasons.
However, there were also some who wondered if Samantha would probably keep a low profile for a few days so that she could come back with an interesting announcement about her next big thing.
Her next film will be Shakuntalam directed by Rudramadevi’s Guna Sekhar. In the mythological drama, she will play the majestic queen Shakuntala Devi. She will also play the role of a pregnant woman in Yashoda, a female-centric sci-fi thriller. The gripping teaser begins with the doctor advising Samantha not to harm herself in any way. She is in some mortal danger and must fight for her survival.
